Save 90%of power of compressor   省電90% (壓縮機的電)

The cost of air-conditioning is expensive, about 60% of the total electricity’s bill, and compressor consumes most of the electricity,  Since the absorption refrigeration contains no compressor, there is a significant reduction in power consumption.
In ammonia absorption refrigeration, only consume 7~10% of compressor's power , the power of absorption is single phase 110v that is used in pump to run the refrigerant for simple cycle of cooling and heating .

冷氣費是昂貴的,約佔總電費的60%, 而大部分電力消耗都用在壓縮機, 吸收式空調 不用壓縮機,所以大量減少電力消耗,吸收式製冷機非常省電, 只消耗7〜10%壓縮機的電。

用於馬達驅動工作流體 作簡單的冷熱循環。

Significant Impact   氨水吸收式制冷帶來的重大衝擊

Most of Taiwan's power generation by coal fired or heavy oil fired power plant.
The energy consumption in Taiwan is tremendously high and most of this energy is consumed with the use of a compressor.
As a result, the government is trying to promote sustainable developments and enact policies to save energy and reducing carbon.
The government encourages the development of non-compressor ammonia absorption chillers as a key part to this success and shouldn’t be ignore.

Industrial refrigeration is dominated by mechanical compression refrigeration.
Ammonia absorption can economically replace a large portion of the refrigeration,
Some of the common disadvantages of traditional compressors is that they consume a lot of electricity, waste a lots of money, and contain CFCs (fluorocarbon with chlorine) refrigerant that harm the ozone layer.
Absorption chiller could protect environment better, save more energy which means reduce CO2 , SO2 emissions from coal fired or heavy oil fired power plant.
Using this refrigerant greatly harms the environment and is an indisputable fact; however, almost all of working air conditioning systems are helpless in transforming.
Refrigeration and construction industry should work together to develop a different way to avoid falling into the killer of greenhouse effect

台灣發電大都靠火力發電,消耗能源甚為龐大,而大部分電力消耗 都用在壓縮機。

政府推廣永續發展, 節能減碳政策 是否成功,政府鼓勵 發展無壓縮機的氨水吸收式冷凍機是成功的關鍵。

工業空調冷凍空調一直被機械式壓縮機統治,現在氨水吸收式製冷可以取代一大部分機械式壓縮機,
傳統壓縮機消耗大量電力,耗費大量金錢,冷媒CFCs氟氯化碳對破壞臭氧層

The absorption plant can run continuously without any stop during several years.

AAR has wide temperature range from +5℃ to –33℃ even lower.

They can be air cooled or water cooled.

Case Study   

This unit 110 tons, supply -15℃ cold water (CaCl2 Brine)
Build an AAR(AMMONIA ABSORPTION REFRIGERATION) was about 7,000,000 Rupees
For 8,000 hours operation(22hr / per day), saving is about Rs. 2,080,000/- per year.(1,365,104 TWD / per year)
Cost of This AAR system was about 7,000,000 Rupees.
Although this absorption chiller is more expensive than compressor chiller, but compressor chiller needs the following expenses:
1. the need to install high-voltage systems, It is both dangerous and expensive.  example:
air-conditioning 800TR (refrigeration tons) requires 1000A power distribution boxes cost about

2. the noise of mechanical compressor is very large, needs to be soundproofed
3. set indoors, taking up space, if the space is in the city, that cost a lots.
4. shock-proof equipment

But it runs one year could save 2,080,000 Rupees, which mean 3.4 year will return on investment.
This is the results of driven by low-cost natural gas combustion ,
if it is driven with free waste heat that will return on investment faster

Requirement : 260 TR x 0℃ CaCl2 Brine.
AVAR
2.5 TPH steam from steam turbine exhaust at 1.4 Kg/cm2.
35 KW motor.
Recovery of waste steam from WHB flue gas. The refrigeration from waste heat was used to cool inlet air of a Gas turbine to enhance power generation.

Requirement : 60 TR x 7oC Water.

300,000 Kcal/h heat recovered from stack of Hydrogen fired thermic fluid heater.
4 KW motor.
Recovery of stack heat from a Thermic fluid heater. The refrigeration was used for reaction cooling in a caustic soda plant.
